Environmental, Health & Safety (SHE) Advisor Location: Aylesbury
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + Package

The Role: We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (SHE) Advisor to support the safe delivery of a major
HS2 earthworks and infrastructure project in Aylesbury. Working closely with site and client teams, you will play a key role in ensuring high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across site operations.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide day-to-day HSE advice and support to site teams.
- Ensure compliance with UK H&S and environmental legislation, CDM regulations, and site standards.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety tours.
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; produce reports and corrective actions.
- Support RAMS, site HSE plans, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and produce monthly HSE reports.
- Promote a strong, positive safety culture.
- Liaise with client and external stakeholders.
Requirements: - NEBOSH General Certificate (or higher).
- Proven H&S experience in construction, civil engineering, or earthworks.
- Strong knowledge of CDM and UK H&S legislation.
- Site-based project experience (major infrastructure preferred).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable: - Environmental qualifications or ISO standard knowledge.
- Auditing and incident investigation experience.
